Policies

COVID-19 - We are a COVID-19 Safety Certified Salon. We are allowing one person at a time into the building with a mask on. All surfaces (pens, clipboard, door handle, etc) are cleaned after each person. The salon is completely disinfected (floors, table, tools, tub, aprons) in between each client. This is why it is very important for everyone to pick up their pet at the time given, to allow us enough time to prepare for the next client. Late pickups/drop offs (and likewise being very early) can make it difficult to keep on schedule. Please try to be punctual.

No-show/cancellation policy:

  • We have a 24 hour cancellation policy. Please call with more than 24 hours’ notice if you cannot make a scheduled appointment so that we may try to fill your spot. There is a waiting list.

  • A no-show will incur a $25 fee, payable up front at the next appointment, pre-payment of your next appointment in order to secure a booking, or we may choose not to extend service to you in the future.

Aggressive dog policy - we are willing to try to work with dogs who can be moderately aggressive during grooming, however:

  • If your pet is known to be aggressive, we must be told in advance. It is only fair that we be given a heads-up for our own safety and for the proper handling of your pet. For example: if they are fine for everything but their feet, let us know so we can not only take safe precautions when working on their feet, but also be able to try to work with them towards the goal of not needing a muzzle.

  • While sometimes aggressive behavior can come out of nowhere, if a pet is known to be aggressive and you do not tell us in advance, we reserve the right to refuse future service to you. .

  • Aggressive dogs will require more than one person be present at time of grooming, so we must be told when you call to book the appointment. Particularly difficult dogs may incur an extra charge, owner may need to remain during grooming, and a full groom may not be possible (for example, we may not be able to wash/clip face if a muzzle has to stay on.)

  • We consider aggressive to mean: any dog who bites, attempts to bite, snaps, growls, bares teeth, or throws themselves about in such a manner that it could cause injury to the groomer or the dog.
